I had a lot of fun this weekend at ECEE, although I didn’t end up waking up early enough to go to the last day prior to my shift at work. I was super surprised that I managed to finish these costumes in time for the convention, and it was a huge accomplishment for me. While I was not there for very long either days, I got to see a lot of people who I’ve missed very much, and enjoyed strolling through the vendors and picking up some super awesome stuff! Over the next month I plan to have a few photoshoots and focus on improving these two costumes; while planning my costumes for the conventions next year! Edmonton Expo was the last convention of the year for me it seems, and I can’t wait to get started on all the new things in between all the hectic wedding planning I am doing.

So this is what I have so far for my Nidalee cosplay! I still haven’t slept yet (I pulled an all-nighter), and I’m just figuring out how I want to go about making the her top. I don’t even own a sewing machine and this is like the second thing I’ve ever sewn so I’m crying and there is fur all over meeee. That means that all I have left to do is make that top, some more teeth to go around the fur on the bottom piece over the fur, and her staff! Then it’s onto the next costume after that.
